Those of you with only Asian nations, please be aware that you will likely be attacked pretty hard when the Europeans turn up. I would advise you to add some European nations to your lists, but if you think you can hold off multiple large European nations, that's up to you.
Not like I have a choice anyway, all of the great and middling powers have mostly been taken in Europe, leaving only the ones that solely exist to be gobbled up by the larger nations.

Actually, I hate to say it but it looks like I won't be able to make it the first or second sessions.. possibly also the third and fourth. So I'm just plain out. I think I'm slated for Ottomans so it's free now. Sorry!

Yeah, I'm going to back out as well, this game is too crowded for me.

Yeah, I'm going to back out as well, this game is too crowded for me.
I'm actually surprised that I'm not the only one that feels this way.

So, unless I suddenly change my mind a little bit later, I'm also backing out. Sorry, I'm just not competitive enough for such a crowded game.

You have choices now.

You guys might want to wait and see how many people actually show up for the first game. I guarantee it won't be as many as we have signups.

Yeah, maybe half will show up the first round and half of that the round after. This is how it always goes for MP games like this.

For me, it depends on whether Twiggie will allow changing of nations before game start so I don't end up with a nation where I don't like their position. But even then, I'm still on-the-fence.

As long as I'm not going to play the same nation twice in a row I think I will be able to stand the competitiveness of multiplayer.

Twiggie Muscowy
andrew4250 England
BarbarossaTSG Brandenburg
Azthor France
Chosrau Ottomans
Karlito Timurids
Fivex Mamluks
Stabbymcstabstab Austria
Deathsword Portugal
Inteuniso Burgundy/Morocco if you really really want
Isdar Vijayanagar
Bulborbish Delhi
Grand Nagus Castille / (Poland/Denmark/Sweden)
Malus (Poland/Denmark/Sweden) / Castille
Tarran Naples/Milan

Descan Oman (late)

And dutchling subbing

Given the lists I think that gives each player enough space to spread a bit. The most clustered nation is probably France, but I daresay they're also one of the most powerful nations at the start, so I'm not particularly bothered.

Inteuniso, I'd rather put you in Burgundy than Morocco to balance out Austria and France's power. If you really have your heart set on Morocco then you can, but I feel Burgundy is better for game balance.

Grand Nagus and Malus, one of you is in Spain, the other is in Scandinavia or Eastern Europe - I put the best nations as choices. These nations are needed as a balance to Muscowy and Western Europe. You don't have to play here, but these are the best spots game-wise. Whichever of you doesn't take Spain can also go Italy if tarran doesn't.

Tarran if you want to play Italy is pretty much unoccupied.

I think everyone else has their first choices pretty much, except the Asian guys, Isdar and Bulborbish. I put you in Delhi and Vijayanagar to make sure that everyone has some player interaction relatively early. Playing in Ming or Japan just leaves you a bit far out.

Italy is unoccupied, but Milan is almost right next to Austria, and Naples is unfortunately outside the HRE and thus would incur the wrath of the emperor (very likely Austria!) if it tried to go into northern Italy, AND is under a PU right at the start. I don't really enjoy the idea of fighting Austria until the majority of Italy is united.

What the hell, I'll give this game a try at least once, assuming I wake up by then. I'm not occupied at all this Saturday anyway.

Well I doubt you'll be in a better position in Bohemia or Bavaria either. You could try Georgia I suppose

EDIT: @Inteuniso, I thought burgundy was in the empire but its not. Up to you, burgundy/Morocco

Don't have internet on my laptop right now, won't be able to play.

Why did you add me separate at the end with (late) after Oman?
