Out of curiosity, what will be the policy with spies between players and against AIs?

spies have been taken out of the picture. Diplomats can now perform "covert actions," but the game-breaking actions have been removed.
Yes, but the spyish actions remain, which is what I meant.

Is there still time left to sign up?
We're waiting for the game to release, so I don't see why you wouldn't be able to join unless Twiggie decided to be a jerk.

Anyway, I just realized that Somebody wants Sweden. Since he was nice to me in the EU3 game and since I'm not actually very interested in Sweden, I'm changing my preferences to: Milan, Bohemia, Bavaria, Naples, Georgia.

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.
Quote from: Ze Spy
Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

Alas, my purchase is delayed at least one week. I'll be bowing out until I get the game, of course.

OK, I'm going to be assigning nations later today, and announcing the start date. I'll also make a Steam group, I think.

Those of you with only Asian nations, please be aware that you will likely be attacked pretty hard when the Europeans turn up. I would advise you to add some European nations to your lists, but if you think you can hold off multiple large European nations, that's up to you.

'Don't be a dick' doesn't mean 'don't attack weak players', it means be civil and don't go out of your way to spoil people's fun. For example, Ottomans attacking an Irish player at the start would be being a dick. England attacking them would be good play. Castille attacking Smolensk would be being a dick, but Muscowy attacking them would be standard.

We probably won't have any players being so weak as that, but I'm just saying... if you have a nice piece of land, make damn sure you can defend it.
