So AI Britain is likely to get in a war with France over Trier.

Please go easy on it.

If it comes to that, the AI will likely take a WP sooner rather than later, though Spain might have to send troops into GBR and colonies to clean up rebels if the WE gets too high in the process.

That said, make sure the AI won't DoW Spain (Gibraltar mission). Against France, it will just send stacks to their death until it feels it is ready to WP, Spain, on the other hand, has to care for its colonies and navies. More importantly, I don't think anyone has the military access and navy to aid GBR if its relations with Spain go negative, so rebels could be deadly.

Alliance gives access, no? I'm sure I could build a few transports...

Unless Andrew has set AI to stick to alliances (in hopes that the feature works), GB will break alliance with me right away.
If it DoWs me then it will be, as Azthor pointed out, a war until British fleet is no more. So anticlimatic.

It might have been due to the latest update.

Just ask someone to send an army ahead of time if you feel the rebels are becoming unmanageable. I'd honestly rather send an army than reload.

So what happened?

Did Russia break apart? The US claim independence or did it just crash intermittently?

For reference, what I want with my colonies:
1: Land, of some sort, of a notable amount, to make me feel alright with taking my colony idea.
2: Good borders, not some horrible mismatch.
3: Some way to get at least some of the trade from them, so I'm not just supplying Spain and getting meagre taxes for myself.
4: Enough supply to not have navies explode before they get anywhere.

I am willing to offer the entire Ivory coast (as long as the provinces are renamed!), and possibly my single Australian province, but I want the rest of Madagascar, and potentially some other colonies (or the italian islands), in return. I am also interested in any ideas for a trade equalization, as long as I have some way to get trade from at least some of my colonies.

I am also interested in defining spheres of influence. Because so far we have not made any concrete statements on them, resulting in places I want routinely being taken by everyone else while I've been abiding to not colonizing the New World and instead taking rather annoying efforts in colonizing Africa and Asia before everything is taken by people who are ignoring the New World and instead going into Asia. It's coming to a point where I'm starting to feel like I'm being severely cheated, regardless of what you two intended.

Andrew, DreXav, I'm talking to both of you here, since Drexav said that you might be interested, Andrew. I do hope we all can negotiate a deal we will all like.

Exact specifics are to be discussed, but for the moment, I'll give you guys vague ideas of what I want.
