Continue trying to sit up. We must overcome the pain.

After multiple tries, you finally manage to sit up straight, though you may want to lay back down before Rena comes back.

Cutscene time, more to do with skipping useless healing time than lack of posts.

She finally makes it back to your makeshift camp, you lie back down before she sees you up

"I don't think anyone knows we're here"
She takes off her backpack, whimpering in pain as she takes it off again, she sits down beside where you're laying, and takes back her crossbow back with her.
By now it's night, and just before you and her try to sleep, you ask her "What nightmares do you have, when in bed, that causes you to cry in your sleep"
She sadly responds "I don't have nightmares, I relive my worst past experiences in my sleep, the time between when I was just born and fifteen"

(yeah for the time being, due to boring healing, I'll have longer post for now)

Offer to help in anyway we can.
"I can help you"
"What would you know about being abused and neglected by your own parents, being cut out of every family photo, and then being blamed for the failure of their marriage and punished for it by being left alone on the side of the street" She starts to cry "that was only my first 11 years, would you like me to continue?"

Yes. It is always better to at least talk to someone even if they can't understand.

She starts to calm down, though still crying, and moves facing the wall of the overhand

".......I found a nice man, after that, he claimed to be my uncle, he took care of me......until my twelfth birthday......where he" her voice get barely audible "raped me" She keeps going "and on my thirteenth birthday, then fourteenth, then fifteenth." "He would've continued forever hadn't I escaped, when I did, I became what I am now, a smuggler, and when I was sixteen I found out he was wanted for the......of twenty-two other girls, all the others who were killed. I never did tell them where he was, I was scared that he would find me again..."
"...and I still am"

"Since then, I've erased where his house is from my memory, it's the only thing I've managed to forget about it.......the sad thing is, he's still out there, he's doing the same 'uncle' scam to other little girls"

((I started this thinking it would be lighthearted. I was proved wrong, and I'm happy about that))
"We'll find him. I don't know how, or when, but we will. And when we do, he'll pay.

"I'm not..I'm not going to look for him, I promised myself that I would never set foot in that house again"
"I'm fine against The Widow, Scavengers, Outsiders, and whatever else is out to get me, they don't scare my much, but if I ever run into my childhood again, my abusive parents, or my 'uncle'....I would rather die" "The kind of mental abuse I took from them was far worse than whatever physical abuse I take now"

You fight all of the pain from your injuries in order to hug her, and by this point tears or flowing from her eyes, but she has become silent as you try to comfort her.
Another storm rolls in, and your fire goes out, leaving you lightless as you embrace Rena

To be perfectly honest, I never intended for her to be in the group, I had it set up to be I one person group, with her guiding you to a town just to drop you off there. She was going to be just a regular few minute appearance, and this is what she becomes.

I also feel like a writing genius after that
