Highest kill list you've ever seen on a dwarf
« on: July 25, 2013, 11:08:29 am »

27,647 kills. My king just arrived, has been alive for 800 years and is called Iteb "RampartFangs". Highly appropriate since he's a vampire and my dwarven civ is "Divine Ramparts".

Going by his stats he could probably take any of my danger room trained dwarves and win. Strangely he only has a wife and no children or other relatives listed. Tempted to put him in the "vampire city" underneath the main layer of my fort with the other vampires but it's a sand  layer and it's a pain as it is keeping nobles  happy, without removing the option of engravings. For now I guess I'll just let him eat whoever until he gets something permanent.

Time to fill his room with engravings of snails because he hates that.

I could of sworn vampire kings were listed as such on the civ page but maybe I'm thinking of necromancers.

Is his wife a vampire also?

Wife would appear to have died before he became a vampire unfortunately, since he was around 140~ when he became a vampire at least and they don't seem to re-marry. Any attempts at reading her page fails because it's grayed out so I can only assume she's dead until I eventually go into legends.

I think the best part is he only seems to want me to make barrels and hospital supplies which works well for me.

Bah! That's not a true kill list, It's just the result of a hideous night creature's cunning trickery.

A real dwarf earns his/her kills with strength, agility and steel! >:(

He's a legendary +5 Axedwarf so I would assume he's gotten a lot of combat kills since he has:
8675 human
3200 goblins
And about 14,800 dwarves all in Catchdike.

Suggests he liked fighting since I can't imagine vampires taking prisoners in that quantity to feed on and these making up most of the kills suggests it was where he lived up until now so wasn't vampiric feeding for the non-dwarves. Not sure without Legends.

If they were all listed in one location, that either means that place has weathered an ungodly number of sieges or your civ has absorbed human and goblin settlements and those humans and goblins were all upstanding loyal citizens adhering to dwarven ethics. You could check by 'exporting' the local map from the <esc> screen in fortress mode, this generates a world population list sorted by site.

Here's a puush of the world sites and pop document.

There's an ungodly number of cats and peafowl.
