You might be looking for the Awl Pike from Dragon #331.

Awl Pike: 10 gp 1d8 x3 -  10 lb. Piercing Dragon #331
Two-handed Weapon. This weapon deals double damage when readied against a charge. See the description of this weapon for special rules.

Unfortunately, 15' reach is simply not something that one handed weapons get, except for whips that explicitly do not threaten any tiles. I believe there are a few 10' reach polearms that can be wielded one-handed, but for the most part they aren't very effective. (The lance is only one handed when mounted, for example.)

As for threatening tiles with a shield, you do indeed threaten tiles adjacent to you while bearing it. However, you will only be able to make attacks of opportunity with weapons that can reach that tile. You would then lose your shield bonus to AC until your next turn unless you have the Improved Shield Bash feat.

Marshal is taking a little longer than expected because I got distracted. I'm thinking to be a anthropomorphic bat lesser Aasimar or Celadrin.
Three different weapons. :P A two-handed three-spacer, a one-handed exotic reach weapon, and a one-handed martial reach weapon, which is basically the longspear made martial, just like the trident is the spear made martial(to my view).

While we're on the subject of Dragon stuff, Dragon#338 has the "Shield and Pike Style" feat that would work very well.

Well, there's always Spiked Gauntlets...

You could also find a way to be treated as being Large.

Those are both good ideas, especially since using spiked gauntlets should add to my unarmed damage if I go for Improved Unarmed Strike(think Uruk-hai pikemen with that spike on one gauntlet, but add a shield). If I could use the exotic weapon, I might prefer it, mostly because it allows me to use a heavy or tower shield(though I lose out on Str and a half bonus), it fits with my character concept better, and is overall better for 'optimization'. By which of course, I mean that a long spear is a simple weapon yet is better in most if not every way than the awlpike, and there is no martial weapon the feat works with.

My character concept was basically inspired by my long-standing desire to find a way to make a Scout not provoke AoOs and still use his Skirmish bonus to the max, especially if I get Whirling Dervish. What I came up with was him taking martial weapon proficiency: glaive(or guisarme, if I want to trip), and using two Small sized glaives with Oversized Two Weapon Fighting. Now I get reach, they're slashing weapons, and I have two of them; I take a -2 to hit, but I think it could be worth it. Lots of feats to make it work, though.(well, one, since Oversized two weapon fighting would probably be taken anyway).

That, and the Tower Guard, or any historical or fantasy battle where there are soldiers with spears and shields.

Also, character sheet so everyone knows it's mostly done: Gartens

Question: We're apparently starting out in a coastal city. Are we going for an aquatic, naval, coastal or inland campaign?

@Harbringer: Remuthra pulled a ninja log vanish a few days ago, so he won't be about to answer your question for a bit.

Makes no difference to me where...though I suppose I'll always like ship based campaigns the best, lol.

Indeed, my vote would be for aquatic/naval, though so long as we don't ditch the water entirely I'm ok with it.

Alright, added some basic RP stuff to my sheet. At least where I came from and why I left, apt to change based on world building. I'm in the cliched polar North though, and Cript's char looks like he could be from somewhere close to there...and we have a history of odd partnerships, me and he.

...

Also, someone correct if I'm wrong, but also I'm looking at Cripts sheet and he's down a level worth of stuff due to his LA. You don't get class stuff, I'm sure you get bonuses from that all the same. I think.

I know Gols are Monstrous Humanoids...

http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Monstrous_Humanoid_Type

So I believe he should add one level and the traits to the tune of of...

Quote
    8-sided Hit Dice.
Base attack bonus equal to total Hit Dice (as fighter).
Good Reflex and Will saves. (which I believe is like a clerics Fort/will, full progression)
Skill points equal to (2 + Int modifier, minimum 1) per Hit Die, with quadruple skill points for the first Hit Die.
    Darkvision out to 60 feet.
Proficient with all simple weapons and any weapons mentioned in its entry.
Proficient with whatever type of armor (light, medium, or heavy) it is described as wearing, as well as all lighter types. Monstrous humanoids not indicated as wearing armor are not proficient with armor. Monstrous humanoids are proficient with shields if they are proficient with any form of armor.
Monstrous humanoids eat, sleep, and breathe.

Dwarmin, you missed mine. Not much there because I'm still uncertain what level we're supposed to be...

Anyways, all monstrous humanoids have the darkvision and proficiencies. The rest is only for the RHD.

I have the start of a sheet too, but there's currently fuck-all on it because I need some questions answered first.

Yes, all you've done is type 'Warlock 3' into the class box :P I can't even make a sarcastic title out of that.

Edit: Also, most of us are going with level 3 so far.
