Achievement?

This game has an achievement for walking 10 meters.

Just saying
No, it's for walking 10 metres and also for rebuilding 3 components (or something like that).
And some of the achievements are pretty hard to get. Well, more obscure. Like getting commendations from platers level 4+, or as a pilot, helping to rebuild components. They're things that hardly ever happen.

So what would you guys like to see in the game? I know there are plans to add a multiplayer Adventure Mode which would be awesome, but personally...

I want some changes to scale.

I want to have a 7 person ship that uses up two slots, some sort of mammoth ship slot. Possible uses include "escort" missions, where a player pilots the Mammoth Transport across the map escorted by some regular ships while the opposing team of regular ships tries to destroy it.

I'd also like to see the introduction of "fighter boats" - one or two man small vessels that are frail but quick. You could bring along two or three of these in place of a regular ship.

I'd like more medium mounts and perhaps even an even bigger gun mount. I'd also love the ability to play 1v1

I seem to have missed an event, so I played one round in with pugs.

Our captain mysteriously disappeared 1/10th of the way into the round, and after awhile of nobody taking the wheel I decided to.

I then proceed to pilot the ship 100 times better than the original captain did. As in, actually turning to the side to fire our broadside guns, and telling the gunners what side I was turning towards.  I often had to jump off the wheel to put fires out, as I was the only engineer with a fire extinguisher, but we were responsible for fully half of the kills, and didn't go down once.

All with a first time engineer turned pilot that doesn't even know what kind of ship he was flying.  (it had one of those sniper rifles on the nose, and 2 guns on each side, all of them looked to be some kind of grenade launcher, the balloon and 2 engines were above the helm)

And sorry Myroc, I got yer invite halfway through but I didn't wanna leave these guys.  We were really giving it our all.

(P.S. I also learned that you don't wanna be going full speed all the time. We pulled up beside a galleon which struck me as a really really bad idea, but we seemed to have won the first fire exchange and then we just unloaded on the poor thing for what seemed like a solid minute.  They were absolutely helpless, it was glorious!)

I agree, Capital Ships would be grand (hehe). Massive 8-person behemoths with many gunpoints, heavy guns and fighter craft. A full-blown Frigate, an Airship-Of-The-Line and a flying Ironclad would be fantastic. Equip some of them with the aforementioned fighter craft... *drool* Or, just make a full-blown carrier craft.

Also, 1v1 matches would be nice. 2v2 and 3v3 are fun, but the variety would be welcome.

More objectives.  Deathmatch is fun, king of the hill is a pain, capture the flag would be fun.

This makes me think - a different deathmatch. It's not a fight to 5 kills, it's a blitz to score the most kills in 15 minutes! Time-deathmatch instead of kill-deathmatch would be a great addition.

Some sort of a defense/assault mission could be fun. Protect your city from air raids! Or, raid the city and level it to the ground!

On the topic of music, I have been listening to classical music while piloting. I rarely listen to classical, but it fits so well - Holtz' Planets is just so very perfect.
Any suggestions for relevant/fitting music?

8-person behemoths? Heck, make that a 12-person or more (12 person being crew for 3 ships), and you've got a deal. Single ship-to-ship combat!

I guess the changes I'd like to see would make it an entirely different game...

Very small craft, like one person fighter or bomber craft (perhaps two people) launching from aircraft-carrier like ships, which would be escorted. I'd love to see ship systems complex enough that it would take a skillful team to keep it at peak capacity, or from collapsing in on itself. Take it a notch towards the SS13 end of the technical spectrum. That way you could have about 4-8 people employed on guns, and about 4 people full-time engineers working the ship.

Failing that, slightly bigger ships and escort missions would be a subpar substitute - but a man can dream!

Well that was fun as always, especially when we were in the Professional Hugger. Dual front chainguns is really dangerous for taking down hull armor just before a ram!

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.
