I still love pyramiddion ramming stuff. That one time I was alone against you guys in that city map I rammed that death mobula right up against buildings for tons of damage, managing to kill you twice =p

I'm scared of pyramidions in the city map. They can go really fast and send you flying into every piece of scenery when they ram you and the mobula doesn't do too great on that map.

Phoenix claw is your friend.
Full throttle up to a manageable speed and then set it to 1/4 speed. That way you aren't constantly accelerating to the point where an obstacle you haven't seen or a turn doesn't catch you off guard. Always keep a track of what speed you're on, a lot of times I would forget while looking around and I'd be stuck in full astern without realizing.

Most maps are pretty open and you don't have to worry about full speed ahead though.

Moonshine, phoenix claw, and impact bumpers are what you should be equipped with in a ramming pyramiddion. Just remember that ramming larger ships (currently only the galleon I think) is a bad idea, and ramming someone's broadside is going to cause more damage to you than the enemy, most likely.

EDIT: Most pilot/engine buffs last for a few seconds after they're disabled, so tapping phoenix claw for a second and then set to normal if you need some better turning for only a few seconds.

Now a fair warning - my mic is way too loud in the recording (Why has nobody told me that?), and we lose handily... but it was exciting to fly, and also I find it exciting to watch. Cheers!

Heh, now that I see the video, I gotta admit I'm surprised we actually killed something that game, due to dying almost as soon as we made contact. Also, I counted about 6 hits at medium range I made with the Lumberjack. But those were also shots I probably shouldn't have made due to the fact on that map, at that range, it was likely half the time the enemy was also behind a building as well as hidden in the fog. Oh well!
