On related topic, Gryph, I've been reflecting on your instructions. I'm starting to agree that designated engineers should stick to their spots. I have so much trouble doing that myself...

There ARE situations where it's worth bringing them off their spots. Hell, there are times when the captain should jump off to help engineering, as we discovered.

But those times are NOT during combat, generally. We can't afford to waste time stepping on each other's toes. That's time that could be spent shooting the enemies weapons!

According to steam, event is in 5 minutes....but I don't see anyone on. Was this canceled?

It doesn't warn anyone before an event starts, but just as it starts. One it pops up on steam we may see people coming on.
