Something that amuses me is that the poll already looks like a normal distribution, skewed to ages 16~20.

This poll kind of confirms what I've believed for a while....this board is largely populated by intelligent teenagers and young adults.

Also, assuming that the active pool of Bay12 goers is 500ish ('people online today' is roughly 500), we only need 81 samples for a margin of error of 10%! We need 218 samples for a m.o.e of 5%, so that's a bit out of the question.

Not really - this pole has several levels of bias going on. It's not a scientific sampling of the boards userbase. Margin of error down to 5% is incredibly unlikely.

Yeah, none of these ages really surprised me. Except I expected Tiruin and Furtuka to be at least 20 years old, and I guessed Gamerlord to be much younger. Otherwise my head canon doesn't require much revising.
