Oh man, this is making me laugh and I don't even know why. I am terrible at podcast-listening, I always get distracted, but I'll give this one a try!

Death to Desert Bluffs

While I value your opinion, I'm going to have to respectfully disagree.  Its such a cheery little town.  Nothing ever goes wrong in Desert Buffs.

At its core, it’s a public radio station of a small desert town with a multitude of odd people, places and occurrences, most of which don’t seem to trouble a single person in the town, much less Cecil, the kindly voice over the radio giving a slightly skewed view into the town.

Hmm....

Hmmmmmmm.....

Unless of course they don't fit properly and your feet blister up like bubble wrap.
Oh ho ho, but don't try to return the shoes, because they won't take them back once you've worn them.
Especially if that fat pig Tony is at the desk.

Well now, seeing as the thread's picking up a bit, I'll do a nice old-fashioned HS-style fanart dump at you folks.

Carlos face is perfect, and his coat is perfect, and his laboratory is just perfect. I approve.

I feel like I won't be able to sleep tonight, so I loaded all these (while, an hour or two's worth) onto my MP3 player and we are going to have a fun time tonight. I like this thing already!

Through the first three episodes now, and yeah, totally hooked as well. The show is so random; it jumps from hilarious, to philosophical (The glowcloud is kinda the essence of life, isn't it?...), to sorta romantic (Carlos and his beautiful hair), to borderline creepy, but it does it so well it just seems to flow between all the randomness without being jarring. Definitely going to listen through all of these, which is weird for me because usually I can't stand podcasts or audiobooks...they are so hard to pay attention to for me.

Some of my friends found this through Tumblr so I'm listening a bit more. The first one was pretty good and this is definitely getting better.

I pretty much love all of the music, both The Weather and the tracks that play normally, but I think my favorite one is the kind of slowish piano one that I don't know the name of. >.< I do know it starts at 28:35 of Episode 25.

I finished episode 6 tonight. I'm really liking it, especially the humor. The weather makes me laugh every time.

So far my favourite one is "A Story About You"

Great idea and an interesting Lovecraftian (well in spirit atleast) story. It's less of a radio report and more of an audiobook of sorts, and it was awesome.
