It was stated by the GM that the roll has to do with the victim resisting the venom, not the venom...I don't know how the critical failure could lead to a severe alteration in how the venom functions, actually. Well, I'll ask rag, see what he says.))

It is possible that, due to the similarities between the two Angels and Selia's attraction to, hypothetically, one of them, it may have resulted in her associating Angel with the effects of the venom, essentially conditioning her.))
