"...Whatever that was, it ruined her ear drum. Not to worry, we've fixed this before. Now, is it alright if i give her the medicine?" The nurse holds up a small needle.

Ari looks to Joyce, Yuki, and Glow, awaiting their opinion.

[Empiricist]

Victoria nods sadly. "Fate can be so cruel sometimes... *sigh*... search through my mind, I'll give you full access... but... if you find something... please just kill me immediately, don't even tell me, or you'll just break my heart..."

[RangerCado]

Selina gulps, but nods, hoping desperately that it wasn't the case as she entered her mind.

*Yuki crawls over to Jessica and protectively hugs her Glow follows Yuki the only one who seems to be okay with it is Joyce who just holds Jessica's hand,Joyce nods to Ari*

Ari sighs and holds all of their hands.

"Do it."

The nurse nods and places a small amount of gel over a part of Jessica's arm before injecting the tiny needle. Jessica would not feel the injection at all, and within seconds would feel itching inside her ear.

"Give it a couple hours to fully heal, and you should be fine. Don't scratch it." She smiles comfortingly.

Victoria's full mind consists of an amorphous sphere of basic impulses and drives with various sigil circles representing conditioning processes interacting with it. There is an absolutely colossal amount of these sigils, some of them have runes around them, representing additional layers of their delusion. A mental signature represents the result of this overall conditioning, Selina can simulate the consequences of a sigil deactivating with the mental signature indicating the effects.

Selina carefully simulates a couple, hoping she didn't find anything bad...

[LUCK: 3, 6, 38, 69] The first two do nothing. The next one slightly alters the mental signature but seems to be inconsequential. The fourth one significantly alters the mental signature but it's within the fluctuation range of Victoria's usual signature. Something seems off...

Selina pursues the fourth, trying to figure out what it would do if deactivated and if it was connected to other sigils.

[LUCK: 7, 5, 12, 98] It... it does nothing? Odd... it altered the signature earlier when flicked on and off... however, Selina does notice something... a slight flicker of a filament is visible, connecting the sigil to something below the array, something invisible.

Jessica's ears flick in irritation <how do you stop the itching without scratching?>* asks the nurse*

"You wait two hours for it to stop. Distract yourself." THe nurse walks off.

Ari thinks for a moment, then starts to gently stroke Jessica's fur.

[LUCK: 7, 5, 12, 98] It... it does nothing? Odd... it altered the signature earlier when flicked on and off... however, Selina does notice something... a slight flicker of a filament is visible, connecting the sigil to something below the array, something invisible.
