Ricardo idly adjusts his watch. It was a composition that relied heavily on electromagnetism to operate, its internal components were electronic rather than clockwork, with no actual gears at all. Light based logic gates operated an electromagnetic disc. Strangely, the current flowed in limited directions within the disc, precisely rotating and incrementing the hands of the clock. The electromagnet was actual quite strong, yet its force only extended as far as the top of the watch. A memento from an old friend. Perhaps he should go drinking with him later, eh, that's another matter for another time.

Ricardo takes out his phone and dials Miranda's number. "Hello? How's the situation on your end?"
