"While I agree with you that Vornar is exceptionally tedious in his constant blood-magic rants, if most of the people here started training in non-magical combat they'd be marginally competent at fighting without magic and marginally competent at using magic. Truly a fearsome combatant.

"There could be, certainly. Of course, such a monster would also likely be immune to bullets, so the best way of dealing with it would probably be destroying it with indirect uses of magic, running away, or feeding it enough magic it decides to stick around as a pet."
