You manage a passable job, and learn quite a lot about Fleshworking from whoever this is. You still don't know his name by the end of it all, but you've managed to learn a bit more about general Fleshcrafting, and learned a new spell... well, as far as you CAN learn spells when your magic focuses on permanent modification.

Alex concentrates on shaping the room, one half turning into a pristine laboratory with bookcases against one wall, the other half the mouth of a cave surrounded by a small forest clearing.
Checking the bookcases, Alex sees the note and goes looking for the library, for books on Fleshshaping, anatomy, general biology, ecosystems and material sciences. And sci-fi/fantasy, because what the hey.
