Beyond the fact that my mode of vision does not involve cones of sight like yours do, but rather instead gives me perception of the objects I focus upon, I believe that your magic is not so much triggered by someone looking into your eyes as your intent to hypnotize them. You hypnotize people when you look into their eyes because you have come to believe that looking into their eyes does so.
But believe me when I state that hypnosis and the mental contact that comes with it would end very poorly for you if performed on me.
