((You know, there really should be some more variety to these missions than just eldritch malice. It is far too clear cut. I'd rather fancy seeing something involved in more human affairs. Of conflicting acts of 'righteousness', hidden agendas and subterfuge. Something that makes people question themselves, their ideals and their choices rather than just inducing relief once the mission ends...))

((Indeed. If its something that could induce some character development in me it'd be a good expedition. As it is I'll either end up a puppet of the spider goddess or end up subverting her spectacularly.))

((Agreed. That isn't exactly morally ambiguous in which choice to aim for...))

((And while my current character thrives off of stark moral divides, it gets boring after a while.))

((Of course, this comes down to a matter of qualification. In order for anything that interesting and compelling to occur, we'll need someone to write something interesting and compelling enough but still with a high degree of flexibility. Railroading would only result in regretful circumstances, whilst a entirely dynamic environment would be what plants the seeds of doubt. I'm not talking about moral choices or anything, I'm discussing situations where all factions truly wish for something perceivable as just but utilize equally dubious methods to achieve them. Where virtue is sacrificed for virtue and the dichotomy between truth and subterfuge begins blurring.))

((Perhaps it is unattainable, but surely pursuing it would still give more options for character development? @Empiricist feels that Victoria's been too bogged down in her cutesy innocence and has yet to demonstrate some of her less pleasant characteristics, namely moral ambiguity and apathy to cause.))

((And likewise, Darnos has been too limited in the Academy. The child nature of the inhabitants renders him an automatic bad guy, incapable of any significant development.
@Xantalos would run a thing where the cast were diplomats, but he/she/it/they/one/you is too lazy to do so.))
