He starts strolling off down the road, looking that way intently.

Angerus frowns and roots around in his armor before finding a towel with an Imperial Aquila on it. He then drapes it over her, grabs Isaac and Angel and puts the whole bunch on his shoulders before following Darnos.

The path gets narrower and narrower. Things seems to move in the trees, things with glowing eyes and way too many teeth. Firefiles flit through the air, giving the entire scene a fairy tale atmosphere. Wind softly whistles through the blueish leaves of the trees and sometimes you can almost hear a cackle or sob off in the distance. In the depths of the forest you catch glimpses of ruined monuments and fallen buildings. One clearing you pass by has a Greco-Roman style ruined temple sitting in the middle of it, vines covering it. The temple goes over the path and makes a sort of gate. Ruined Academy banners hang from the both sides of the main entrance and a skeleton rests just in the entry way. The presence seems to be stronger now, Darnos especially feels an insatiable urge to continue further.

Isaac hops off of Angerus's shoulder to look at the architecture.

"Huh? Selina?"
Victoria notices what happened.
"Oh..."
Victoria stays away from the edge or anything else that has any chance to collapse.
((I take it that it's too late to shoot Selina in order to retrieve her?))

He continues on, going a bit faster.

((Oh okay, I presume she isn't able to shoot anyone and attempt to use a reverse distance rewrite to teleport them back up?))

((Are they eligible to file a law suit when they get back? I don't think that building was built in accordance with the required standards ))

((Also anti-magic field annnnnnd...something we'll meet later. Vicky can take a jump though, the fall isn't fatal and distance is a mutable thing where we're going.))

The group enters the Temple. Its obvious that this place has seen better days, the roof is fallen in and plants a growing all over the place. Strangely there seems to be sort of reconstruction effort going on, parts of the roof have been patches up with corrugated metal and weather beaten wood. A small camp has been set up in the middle while old looking tables and chairs are scattered around the place. A long dead fire pit is in the middle of the camp and deserted bed rolls and tents surround it. Ripped and torn flags of the Academy hang from the walls and flutter lazily in the breeze. And then there are the skeletons, the place is littered with them. scraps of clothing litter the floor around them while they clutch rusted weaponry. Many seem to be in the garb of mages, a few look like they were once knights of some description, the armor ruined beyond recognition. Strangely if the group looks around they can find nothing that can tell them who was worshiped here. Any emblem has been burned and all the statues smashed. At the back of the Temple is a set of heavy, shut iron doors. Darnos feels a burning need to open those doors, he also feels something of indignation at the desecration of this place. It seems...wrong somehow, some part of his mind is whispering in rage. The rest of the group just really wants to go through those doors.
