Angel begins work on the body.
Shiny yellow-orange plastic, with ball-and-socket joints. Two arms, two legs, one head, simple. The head looks more human than Alan's.
It can move pretty well and be controlled remotely, say by some sort of sentient metaphysical concept, once properly attuned. Moreover, it can do so even if disassembled, completely or partly.
First, to create the chunks of plastic that are called the "body".
Head: [79+151+76+24] The head is excellent and human-looking.
Torso: [1+151+76+24] The torso is good, except for being a cross between a box and a cylinder. Not very human-like.
Arms: [59+151+76+24] The hands are a bit clumsy, but other than that great.
Legs: [69+151+76+24] The legs are pretty good.
Second, to put it together. Which it was created specifically to do. So, easy.
Third, to make the whole thing "connected" to allow for even dismembered control.
[15+90+76+43] Check.
Finally, attune it.
[7+90+76 let's call this Telepathy +5-50] No dice.
"Aha! ...Aw, man. I screwed up there."[
1+90+76+5-50] (There are no official penalties for rolling a 1, but this kinda fits with my plans, so...)
The big plastic thing stands up.
"Yay!"It looks around, before imploding into a portal.
"...Um..."She looks inside. She sees a cliff, leading into a wide hole in the ground. In the hole, she sees farther down another land, with another hole in it, and so on and so forth. Nine layers in all. The landscapes on the other side of the portal are not pleasant, either--they are hellish.
Angel screams, with body and mind.
