Inside of course, is a coffin. A wooden one. It is raised on a marble platform. It stinks of rotting flesh.
Isaac coughs from the sudden smell.

Catherine wishes she had wind magic to deal with the smell. Or possibly mastery of the obscure art of smellomancy, with it's Infiniteseveral uses.

Isaac stabs his cog-blade into the coffin, prying the lid open. The smell is suddenly much worse and somehow, flies escape from the coffin.
Inside is an ancient looking book bigger than Isaac's face. The pages are yellowed. He grabs it before shutting the lid of the coffin.

[OREOSOME]

"So.. What's the book?"

[Projeck37]

"Well... This is how we get in. Now let's see..."
Isaac dusts off the cover then begins flipping through pages, trying to find something.

[SOLDIER First]

Lyle likes approxamitely 0% of this.

Max doesn't really care.
"God, it reeks here."

[Projeck37]

"Aha! Alright..."
Isaac puts his finger on a circle in the book and recites a few of words.
A rumbling is felt in the earth of the island that the lone cemetery is on.

[SOLDIER First]

"Oh jeez.."

[Mysterious warrior]

"It seems as though the followers of Thanatos have been here."

Catherine reached to a flask of water at her side, a bit worried by the ominous rumbling.
"Well then, what usually happens after the place starts rumbling?"

[SOLDIER First]

((Why is Mike here again?
I thought he was at the Academy, which is why he was able to talk to Glow.))

[Projeck37]

"Well-"
Isaac is cut off by a loud creaking sound of gears moving.
Outside, two large hatches have opened up out of the ground, exposing a dark staircase.
"... that happens."

[Mysterious warrior]

Mike appears a small plastic can of a strange light blue gel of some sorts and dabs a small amount under his nose. Mike looks relieved and takes a long breath in from his nose. He then offers the gel to everyone else.
(( I thought Glow was on the train. She wasn't? ))
" This gel numbs the sense of smell and masks the odor of rotting flesh "

[SOLDIER First]

"I swear, if someone suggests we split up.."
