Isaac just dispels the wolf due to strain of having two companions out at once.
Actually, the pigeon just sits outside the door for hours. It doesn't peck.

In walks Darnos, who heads to a specific section of bookshelf.

Isaac summons a few different companions individually.
[67+114-50] A cat appears, then disappears.
[72+115-50] Suddenly Penguin! Then suddenly no penguin.
[98+116-50] A dragonfly about the size of a short sword appears then no longer is there.
[85+117-50] A crow appears then is dispelled.
[43+118-50] Swarm of bees. Then none.
[56+119-50] Ostrich shows up. Same fate as the others. Gone for now.
[91+120-50] A ferret appears on Isaac's arm. It stays.
Isaac appears slightly tired.

[SOLDIER First]

The coin fails to do anything.
"Cool ferret."
Lyle attempts to touch it.

Oliver begins drooling onto the table.

The ferret indeed lets Lyle pet it. That is, before Isaac ends up dispelling it.
"Phew... that's tiring."

"Hmm."
Lyle removes the Almanac of Faces from his satchel and briefly examines it, before returning it to its resting place.
