The boy continues going through several walls and even up into the ceiling a few times, eventually ending up in his room.

There was an injured student on the ground approximately 10 meters behind you, and no amount of homework save for the end of year projects would necessitate running to one's room in order to complete it, especially in the manner you proceeded. What happened?
