He slowly turns towards them, showing his face completely. It's absolutely disgusting. But, they can notice that his left eye, which is the side that the rot is on, is black, where as the other is blue.

The rot appears to go down under his T-shirt, down his neck. It only gets worse the farther down the neck it goes.
