((Well, later on, she might be able to turn individual hadrons such as, say, the protons and neutrons inside of an atom, into the atoms that steel are comprised of, so that there's a clusterfuck a atoms right next to each other, possibly even overlapping. Best case scenario: nuclear fusion occurs and the enemy gets screwed up completely. Worst case scenario: the particles are launched away from each other in tiny explosions that if inflicted on an enemy, which still could rip them apart on a subatomic level.))

((Normally yes, since you have to give the particles enough thermal or kinetic energy for them to get them to overcome their repulsion towards each other and get close enough for fusion. Except here, chances are, the particles would be overlapping since Kamiko would have replaced sub atomic particles with full-blown atoms... which likely would start fusing with each other...))
