"Slayers just stop people from tampering with the cycle of life and death too much. It generally just amounts to assassinating people who try to become immortal since that would be rather unpleasant for them all things considered and really bad for resource depletion since if it becomes too proliferated it will cause monolithic degrees of overpopulation.."
