Or stop plotting to kill Dran since if you succeed he'll likely crash the airship in the middle of the ocean or something put of spite.

Wait...if we killed Dran successfully, how would he do anything out of spite?

Threw him overboard, the text said. I imagine I'd catch onto the side of the ship or something.

1. How much could he do hanging onto the ship? How long would he even last?
2. You said "Or stop plotting to kill Dran since if you succeed he'll likely crash the airship in the middle of the ocean or something put of spite," emphasis added.

I wonder how high that airship can go? Probably not that high if Dran is dead, considering Jerik is the only one who can fly it.

Higher if Cromwell uses his powers. Possibly, higher still if I can use mine on it.

...How, exactly, does that work again?

You can animate nearby stuff of similar quality. It doesn't need to be similar scientifically only conceptually, in your mind. So you can make golems out of curry if you like.

There was actually a pen and paper game I played once where it was possible to make gunpowder golems.

...mind if I borrow that for a RTD I'm planning? It's centred on a world literally powered by gunpowder, so that is actually friggin perfect.
