Wouldn't they be really old by that point and people would call him out for beating the shit out of old people?
I meal they don't in Skyrim when you punch Grelod to death, but in that game you're the Dragonborn.

She is kind of a bitch. I would do it even if I wasn't the Dragonborn.

That's what the Reason You Suck Speech is for. So everyone knows how bad they are. Beth knows... part of it. The rest of the group knows scraps. Most adults know barely anything. Trust me, NO ONE will try to stop Derry from killing them.

A random kid charges an adult, obviously trying to stab him. Adult disarms him, goes all 'wtf dude' on the kid. Not really that complicated :P
