So very recently, Notch, creator of Minecraft, told everyone to go play DF. I wanna know what you guys think about this! :)

Good - gives the game more publicity.

Not much else to think...

Maybe it's publicity stunt, part of a secret plan devised by Notch and Toady to enslave the world or something.

DF has always been vastly superior to minecraft, to the point where comparing them is questionable since one of so different than the other.

Hey, there's no need to go bashing minecraft. You're being every bit as childish as those theoretical childish minecraft players. Minecraft is a great game, too, and it's not even in the same category as Dwarf Fortress.

Hey now, DF is intimidating enough without you being hostile to potential fresh BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD. *cough* erm... sorry about that.

Besides, some of us MC players are quite cultured with warm, soft, luxurious beards.  Mmmm beards...  8)

This is great! More people to try DF will increase the chances of getting new players and donators. Even better when they come from another creative sandbox game.

Minecraft lets you to build pyramids. Dwarf Fortress lets you be a pharaoh.
