Dynasty Name: House Shando krin'Kar (Shando, sons of Kar), generally shortened either to Shando or Shandokar.
Dynastic History: A thousand years ago, a young Kenturo Administrator succeeded in creating the first nuclear bomb of his planet. Producing over a hundred in a month by pushing his entire industry on the matter, he quickly annihilated his most dangerous rivals and forced the rest of the Administrators to unify the planet under his banner. He was the first Shando-King, and he would not be the last.
Under his dynasty, the Kenturo spread to five planets and honed their technology to rival that of the rest of the galaxy. They were discovered some twelve hundred years ago by humanity, and eventually incorporated into the lesser empire. After the end of the Wraither War, the Shando-King became Archon of the Kenturo worlds, and the dynasty kept the post throughout the empire's history. Hashak Shando krin'Kar, better known as Old Hashak (being currently four hundred years old and going strong) is the current Archon.

Named Worlds: Kar, Victo, Anthra, Rakarim, Medo
Race (Minor): Kenturo (singular and plural)
Race Physical Description: Although Kenturo are, technically speaking, biological creatures with natural origins, most of them are as much machine as they are alive. Small and densely muscled, they are bipedal and stand generally around four feet tall. Their skin is of metallic colors, ranging from blue to dull grey. With wide shoulders, two pairs of arms and strong legs, they are surprisingly powerful for their diminutive size, and that's not even taking the artificial parts into account.
Because of unlikely genetic mutations and a iron-heavy homeworld, Kenturo universally possess a magnetic affinity. By manipulating the blood flow of their hands, they are able to pull objects towards themselves or to throw them away relatively quickly. A slightly more difficult manipulation can allow them to make objects "float" between their four hands, by carefully adjusting magnetic fields. This, mixed with a cerebral structure which was easy to mix with artificial electrical impulses, made them extremely talented machinists.
As such, a Kenturo will generally have a number of artificial arms mounted on their shoulders, several batteries implanted on their backs, and fully artificial eyes. On the inside, they possess a very large amount of cerebral implants (generally used to control the other cybernetics and interact with machines outside of the body), a bionic copy of all their organs, and nanite-enhanced blood and muscles. Because of all these modifications, their life expectancy generally goes up to three hundred years, although some extremely wealthy and influential Kenturo have been known to live up to six hundred years.
Racial Society: Ingenious and curious, Kenturo respect technology above all else. Their society is vaguely feudal, with each area of production ruled by hereditary Administrators. Few Kenturo are interested in climbing up the ranks, and as such only the highest ranked nobles ever involve themselves in politics. Their worlds are densely populated and covered in cities - most agriculture is done underground and based on pseudo-mushrooms and animals which do not require light, for purposes on efficiency. Keen industrialists, notorious engineers, and uninterested in war unless it is necessary, they are builders above all else.
Brief Racial History: Hailing from Kar, a world of fire, iron, and heavy gravity, the Kenturo evolved to rely on their mechanical genius to advance in life. Their world was united roughly a thousand years after the discovery of gunpowder, and under this unification they spread to the surrounding stars. Preferring an incredible population density (all of their planets achieving at least a thousand inhabitants per square kilometer) to a vast galactic empire, they never grew beyond five planets. Small enough to be mostly ignored by the elder races, they were discovered by humanity at some point during the Wraither war.
Originally clamoring for neutrality and later joining the humans when they were left with no choice, the control of their world was handed over to their old ruler when the Empire was founded. The Kenturo generally stopped producing warships, preferring to focus on industry, and remained mostly quiet and separated from the rest of the Empire's politics for the centuries to come.
