I missed the whole mission?!?
...Didn't miss much. Creepy generic evil guy with total power over his study which we got to somehow, who feels like talking to us after saving us for poorly-explained reasons. All things considered (*cough*chairs*cough*), it's probably for the best that Angel wasn't there.
"Oh, evil and demons. Can I go now? I had some mission stuff going on and really demons and evil are boring at this point."
((...Wouldn't Angel be screaming in pain from this?))
I'm going with "Angel's not there," because I'm having trouble imagining how she would react to all of this.
On one hand: Really disturbing horrible stuff.
On the other hand: Really cliche stuff.
[100,000,000,000] (commas added)
Oh come on. Stat cap is 1,000. Even the Headmistress can't get anywhere near that with a dozen +250 bonuses.
((Ummm...He is still fucking insane. And burning, and just pulled bodily through reality.))
Hey, if you can give random generic evil people bonuses in the tens of billions, without even putting in the commas to indicate that you know how big you're making them, don't expect us to play along.
((Yeah, also the baby.))
Why did he bring Cyrielle?
Which reminds me: Why did he bring Mission Control?
Which reminds me: Why did he bring ANYONE there on the mission?

((...Cyrielle is burning, or the 2 month old growing fetus inside of Selina?))
((I was thinking more the second one.))
1. How does that even work?
2. What?
((And she is or I'm done.))
With what? Don't quit the whole game because mcclay can't design a good ending to an adventure.
No offense, but "The big bad guy summons everyone and starts talking to them before randomly torching everyone as they're sent away" is a pretty poor ending. I'd compare it to
Fable 2, but that would just be mean, especially since the first part of the adventure wasn't so bad.
Except the bad guy who ignored all the lethal or debilitating attacks we performed on him.
mcclay needs to work on his invulnerable-or-omnipotent-villains problem.
((@Ragnarok, does Victoria recognize his soul?))
((... Huh. Actually yeah she would o.o))
Are the rest of us supposed to recognize him?
((Maybe do this a little more tactfully...))
In other words, someone shut up Angerus?
((You ARE talking to 11 kids who combined probably outweigh you.))
You don't know much about 40k, do you? Angerus probably faced bigger problems while asleep some nights, and came out...probably scarred, but not seriously injured.
((Talking from experience here, NOTHING beats numbers.))
In my experience:
1. One adult, or even a large teenager, can ignore a surprising number of children trying to grab him.
2. None of the adults in question were superhumanly strong before putting on their powered armor.
Rag approved all this?
I don't see why he wouldn't.
You don't see the need to ask before submitting the players to an omnipotent being? Who completely breaks the stat scale?
Why should you respect someone who gives you no reason to respect them?
+1
Those who expect that are silly people.
Or exceptionally powerful people
Sometimes both.
If you
expect respect, without giving people reason to first, that's just silly.
Or it could have just not happened to Selina since the there is nothing saying you can't retcon it in.
No, I have a plan for this. Whats the worst that could possibly happen when Evil itself fixes a baby?
You lose your GMing privileges?
I somewhat have a feeling this wasn't cleared with Rag, but I'll trust you that it was.
Earlier, he admitted it wasn't, because "Why would he complain? It's a different universe!"
Silly GWG I regret NOTHING.
Next time, could you delete everything you're not replying to?
What the fuck! I was fucking joking! Holy shit do you people not understand sarcasm!
...
*smacks mcclay*
This is the internet. We can't hear your voice.
You always clear things regarding missions with the GM.
Yeah, that might have been a good idea.
Might?
Before i run a mission, I have every intent of running it by the GM first.
Basically they'd need to have Imagine Breaker. It's the only power that trumps her.
What's that?
Also: Scion. Would he defeat her?
Scion (actually Zion, but everyone misheard Scion and calls him that so...) is the manifestation of an interuniversal being on a comprehensibility level slightly above Lovecraft's beings. As far as I understand, they eat by blowing up a planet in every universe at once. Between feedings, they grant people superpowers; Scion is fully capable of using any superpower imagineable if it feels like it. And if nothing else, it can just flee and use Contessa's power to look for the path to victory. If the Headmistress has the slightest psychological weakness, or if there is one thing she is ignorant of that would destroy her when she discovered it, Scion would reveal it. It worked against Eidolon.
Also experiment with co-GMs over.
It doesn't work.
You say after
one co-GM-run adventure?
And you've given me an idea for a mission.
RotMG/TA crossover anyone?
Demon's Run and THE ham battle.
This I would like to see.
Or...rap battle between DR and the Headmistress?
Emp, the Zalgo text is just a bunch of squares on my screen. Just a little bit annoying.
That's not what it's supposed to look like?
Wow. I was reading/replying to TA for over an hour? Well, there was a brief conversation-related interruption or two, but still...
