Being hit hard enough in the head to bleed causing brain damage? That's just stupid. Done that a hundred times and everytime I've been rushed to the hospital for a scan and nothing. Nada. No damage. Also, stabbing someone in the eye may not cause brain damage, depending on the angle of penetration.
