Well shit. We'll need someone who is actually willing to do that first. Because Victoria is quite fine with people keeping secrets to themselves and Selina probably isn't too enthusiastic to the idea either. We'll need someone who is willing to do that to find about the bracelets and Angerus's problems...

Out-of-control ERPing made worse by players creating and controlling their own NPC minions (including a mind-reader/controller who is so much more powerful than all the player characters you auto-fail resisting mind-wipe trolololol), near-total lack of anything for my character to actually do, and now a 6-week timeskip that completely screws up what few plans I could gather together.

It is, actually. You got bonuses to your spell rolls when you do a magic that can fit as combat/support/tech.
it's just that Support and Combat actually work as Sorcery now, like they should.

Yeah, that kind of stuff is aggravating. A few notes:
1. The GM has put a (perhaps belated) ban on ERP.
2. You lacked stuff to do because you didn't look for stuff to do.
3. I'm not really trying to convince you to rejoin, just helping you realize a couple things that might not have occurred to you.

3. I'm not really trying to convince you to rejoin, just helping you realize a couple things that might not have occurred to you.

Counterpoints:
1) The fact the GM let it get out-of-hand again and again until the whole "right that's it too far no more now we giant timeskip to time when you have more structured schedule" is not reassuring, especially considering...
2) I looked for stuff to do frequently. I have a giant list of books waiting, I spent days at a time trying to get my character to find anything of interest, and I tried to interact with relevant NPCs and PCs. However, since the GM apparently lacks the time and/or interest to actually run their game, NPCs and the like got me exactly nowhere. When it came to interacting with PCs... Time zones caused problems with some, the fact I didn't want to roleplay a 10-year-old fleshsculpter in an ERP (or roleplay in an ERP at all, for that matter) caused problems with others, and others seemed to spend all their time talking in their heads and/or spending time where Alex had no reason to go. And then of course there was the ability uncertainty thing with the summoner guy, which is a shame. Damn Alex's pesky morals...
