"Freedom is within your grasp! You and a few others are spread around the wilderness. You'll need to work together and build a boat. Just downriver there's a small colony with anti-slavery laws. We will not pursue you...But we will be in contact."

Moses puts on the warm clothes.  It's much better than simply going about in rags.  Once he's done, he'll look around.  Since he just woke up it's obvious he doesn't know where's a good place to go, so he might as well examine the surroundings a bit better to help him formulate a plan.

Well, nothing interesting is going to happen in this rock pit, so Moses heads out towards the forest.  Maybe he'll be able to meet someone that will aid in escape.  He has no reason not to believe the audio recording after all.  It seems to be rather quiet about though... perhaps there isn't anyone around?
