Also, there was a period there where our character were simply stupid because they were sober and knew nothing. Once drink started clearing our minds, we tried to reexamine our surroundings n a clearer light, since the descriptions we players got of our surroundings were vague before. Yes, we did also do some clowning around in the meanwhile. It's all part of the exploration of the game. We even tolerated a few "you idiots" for the sake of the game, and tried to focus on whatever it was we had missed that the GM thought was clear. This was my mindset throughout, and I think at least that mastacheese has repeatedly offered sound suggestions based on our current knowledge.

In other words, we are not trying to break your game, we are simply acting on what we have available. Finally, sometimes, when we request more or repeated information about something, it's simply because we didn't understand / needed more clues. A few simple repetitions of information can be dramatically helpful.

THIS ONE SEEMS... DIFFERENT.
