Ouch, yeah one hell of a quick dominion kill right there .

It was fun though. I should have attacked sooner to overcome the weak dominion I had. It would have been nice to see the war play out a little longer but I'm kind of glad it's over. I'm not much of a fan of subbing other people's nations. I'm rather particular about what paths and scales I take and having a strong dominion of at least 8 or 9.

Anyway, I'll see you next round. Thankfully it'll be Dominions 4 instead of 3.

Sorry for the delay again. I thought I'd be able to get to this tonight - indeed, I pushed back the deadline a little rather than begging off 'til tomorrow earlier because "I'll be able to get to it a little later" - but I need to push it to tomorrow. It'll be done before tomorrow night.

EucreJack? You good or you need more time? I mean, I'd not be one to talk about promptness, given that I only just forced myself to sit down and take the miserable* 60-90 minutes necessary to do my turn (and I still probably missed stuff)...

Ugh, just ugh. I'm not bailing, but this game shifted from being entertaining to a chore back in in February at the latest, and it's only gotten worse since then. Some of it's the fact that we've been playing this game since last August; some of it's that we're playing Dom3 and specifically CBM, so every conceivable irritation with those bubbles up constantly, especially given how advanced the game is; some of it is just the size of the map - it's a tolerable size, but at endgame, what was tolerable becomes irritating, especially with Dom3's unlimited ranged rituals attenuating the strategic notion of front lines. To be perfectly honest, it can't help that I was the least well-prepared of the three remaining great powers for the endgame - I'd say the most prominent of the middling powers was better prepared for the endgame than me; playing out a strong-but-almost-certainly-ultimately-doomed position is not adding to the enjoyment, though the growing gruelingness of the game has been an issue for longer than that has. So yeah, ugh, and miserable.
