Giant Were-Gila monster that immediately turned into a Kobold after trying to raid the fortress. I just imagine Godzilla turning into a little rat-dog and running away with it's tail in-between it's legs.

In my worlds I sem to get an unusually high number of weresheep and werewombats. I've also once been a weremoose and had an epic weremoose v. weremoose duel.

I'm pretty sure the Wereass takes the cake on this one.

If someone could give me photographic evedince of a were-wolf in DF, I would be very impressed.
I find the most common were-animal is the were-deer and am off to discover a real were-wolf in DF!

Were-beasts in general are pretty funny, considering how absolutely useless they are.

It's been a while but I believe that I once sicced an entire squad of steel clad axedwarves on a wererabbit once.  I'm pretty sure that the axes were bigger then the rabbit.

For some reason I get a feeling of Monthy Python here.

"There it is, the bloodthirsty monster!"
"It's just a rabbit."
"But it got these pointy teeth."

WERE-WAGONS.

If it isn't in already, this needs to be a thing.

I saw a were-mammoth (according to the wiki, these are the largest type). Instead of killing my dwarves, it ran at some random wildlife, killed a few, transformed back, then ran off the map.

I saw a picture of werecavies on some craft.

Aside from that, I had a werecamel spawn just after a dragon - and right next to it. The dragon won.

My current fortress is being harassed by a weremoose. The bastard usually murders some livestock, spooks the caretakers, then proceeds to turn into an elf and runs off.

Wut. I didn't think that was even possible. Although, looking at the wiki, it just says that "Werebeasts may take the form of mammals or reptiles." So there's nothing there that excludes sentient species...

The wiki also says that animal-men can become werebeasts, though I don't think I've ever seen that happen. But could you have, say, a tigerman that transforms into a weretiger?
