I've been wanting to do an illustrated game, but I can't come up with an art style thats simple enough for me to draw, while still remaining interesting.

Experiment. Looking at things like The Order of the Stick and my own The Ultimate Hero's Apprentice, stick figures and the like can be pretty good. Just remember: Art may draw someone in, but only a compelling story gets them to stay.

Scrapheap Challenge/Junkyard Wars - ever watched the show? No? Well, here's the deal - you get four weeks and a bit of cash to build something from scrap. What is it depends on the theme of the "episode" - it could be a boat, a ballista or a working spaceship. And then you compete with other people who also made said contraptions.

Heroes of Might and Magic on Forums (HoMMF) - keeping with the "Video/Tabletop-Game-on-Forums" theme. This time with my personal all-time favorite turn-based strategy, Heroes of Might and Magic! (which one exactly is up to the GM that picks this idea up, but ideally III, IV (yeah, that's right) or V.

I'd be thinking of a You Are A Nationality forum game a la You Are A Russian, only with any number of possible nationalities! Your goal? Take over the world in unique (nation) style.
