Sorry for the slight delay.

Also, wer, the primary problem is that IC is not a resource you can extract from the ground. It's only made by idling citizens.

Alright 10ebbor10, I have a few questions for you:
Firstly, with
             -[7]Mechanized farming [1 Energy, 2 Industrial => 28 Food  ]
in your example application, what exactly is the "2 Industrial" supposed to represent?
Secondly, are we allowed to transform Industrial products into other products or just Industrial resources?

Should be fine I guess, but you would be kind in trouble given your population would probably be even smaller then mine and you have the military rule to follow.

But I guess if you go diplomatic and take on the role of a kind of client nation to a bigger one you might be ok, this is just what I think mind you.

It worked for you, but it didn't work for me. The system broke down all over the place, and I constantly had to modify stuff to prevent silly results from happening.

That's fair enough, for the most part. Though I don't really get the changes to the economy. Seems like they are just adding in complexity for very little gain, and the abstractions in LoaBW (And the research specialties seem a bit silly anyway too, and a little inflexible to remnant tech as well.)

OK, so those 7 pop units doing mechanized farming turn 14 tier 1 industrial resources into 14 tier 2 food products (which provides 28 food), so where do the tier 1 industrial resources come from?

Yep, the food came from the Iron mines, but I just forgot that the Iron mines where tier 3 Industrial. I think I'm going to change some stuff. Just so you know.
