IKR. Whats even better is this is probably how every fight is going to go. If I wasn't a healer, this'd go from "crashed and burned" to something a little more like "blew up in the hangar".

Its because of our gear, which everyone who survives will shortly ditch. We could've just chosen not to fight, but that would've been worse for us in the long run, seeing as how this blacksmith is going to give us better kit.

I think the game's fun. My only complaint is no inventory spoilers under the turn.

FAKEEDIT: Hey! Kyle actually shouldn't have had a -1 the turn before last, since he was using the guard knife, and not his old one! :O *gasp!* *scandal!* It wouldn't have changed anything anyways though, since the combat ended that turn anyways and the thief he bashed didn't do anything else aside from cower.

Holly:
You try to heal Tychus. (6) You heal his throat so much that he grows a sizable tumor.

Tychus:
You rest for a few minutes. You feel very tired...

Walter:
You try to create a tourniquet. (5-4(injury)) You stop most of the bleeding.

Turn 15:

Guardsman Jon:
The guard returns with a healer and some good news. He's been promoted! He thanks you for your help and gives you a silver coin each. He leaves to spread the news.

The Healer:
The healer is not what you expected. He is an old man with glasses and a white coat. He carries a bag of sinister tools and bottles. He sterilizes and bandages all your wounds. He gives Tychus a bottle of small white pills for his leg. He tells Walter to consider finding a one-handed weapon.

Then he announces that his fee is 8 silvers.
