Wow, a bold but i think smart move, this game will spread like butter on a hot day on the popen sea. Im sure more will supoport your company in one or another way =) After all these patches, fixes,addition, it almost feels like a whole new game. fc in a good way hehe cheers for your work!

Our philosophy with the game is that it doesnt matter if users get game for free, because game is updating constantly and if you really love the game you will buy it just to get updates first, person who doesnt like the game can just ignore it.

 I just wanted to say also, after trying assc4 and pp the second one is such a bigger game(not megabyte size speaking bout quality and fun wise ) he first thing i noticed in ac4 was how the game is like an movie where you are directed you can go here but we will choose how and when and so on.

PP got me hooked byt the first time, as i said earlier i got sweet pirates! vibes and even if you die alot at first its a big part of the charm , to get your pirate empire right and have love and harmony or chaos and dissorder amongs your men. You sirs, i appluaduyou *clap clap clap*

The game itself loads and run much smoother for me, nice touch for the captain screen so you can see your name and traits, On my first try i got big apatite and well, the fruits,fish, and meat didnt cover the rest of the crew haha.


 The guide i bet helps out new players good so they will know what they have to do to start their voysge and what is needed.
Its also (kind of) good you made the guide uncommandable haha.

I came across a big island with a lot of spiders, well they cant be to bad i thought so i wanted to send in the guide first, when he didnt want the cook got the big responsability... Are there different spiders? This ones seemed to stun and paralyse the pirate to later eat in peace haha.
I also spotted a new tree with the title banana tree, will we be able to gather fruits on island later on? Hmm more testing later, cheers for starting anc contiueing to work on this gem, if you ever liked pirates simlulations and rouqelikes games, this is a MUST try, and buy

Those slowmo kills (y)    It feels like you done alot of work on the pathfinding system to, no pirates get stuck and they actually jump/climbs by themself now if its not to steep=)
And yes you can pick bananas if you spot a bananatree, the campfire didnt do anything for me(maybe not implemented yet)

Really like that you have done some work on the islands and created some variaty with many sorts of enemies


Two bugs i encountered, one is after i pressed R for restart and the bodies sink in the water but the game doesnt restart. The second one is where a grappling rope got stuck on the boat so whereever i went i had a rope premade .

Ignoring glitches that ruin my game (Also I find it odd that the first few games they will give you one free crewmember but never again... as well as more then 600 bucks)

Is there a good way to survive in the early game other then pure unadulterated luck?

Also TIP!: scuttling a ship does give you some of what is on the ship... but taking over the ship disintegrates your old one... so remember to disassemble it. I lose one game because not only did the starting city have no food, but I took over a ship and had all my old food disappear. (Dang it tropical islands... how do the natives survive there?)

Also how do you get certain people to do their jobs? I realize some people's jobs aren't obvious (for example Sailors clean up poop)

That extra pirate is for those new players =) Hmmm i usually hire a cook and a sailor and start from there. If you find a shop with a fishingpole buy it, you will save much time and miopney on food! Also dont forget to use the loot you find

Cooks make food?

You can die when you start the game simply by food not existing anywhere else.

I hope in the future food can be found on islands >_<

Haha i ran into the same problem, but now you can collect coconuts and bananas on island so that was a nice polish from the devs, among all other sweet stuff.

 He was my guinnapirate he was always the first on the island just in case 15days is my new record, got a nice ship, a good boooty but forgot to backup my save but hey thats the charm of rouqelikes.
Hopefully we can get an own island later on to store our booty and the retirment of the crew.

So, I've been playing for a bit and it's kind of fun. I started experimenting with making ship interiors but it's completely black inside the ship so you can't see anything... then the game sort of flipped out and all the wood blocks making up the ship turned completely black. Is this normal? Does it indicate that the ship is damaged or something?

When I first launched the game I had a quartermaster + captain and 1000 gold.  Now whenever I make a new character I only start with captain + 600 gold.  What determines this?  I tried to roll for the rich trait but that doesn't seem to do anything.  Finding it really hard to get off the ground in this game, hiring guys is super expensive and attacking random boats doesn't make much money, especially when during boarding my guys can get knocked into the water and die.

Its dark beacuse walls keep sunlight from coming in ' you can make some nice lightspots where you place ladders etc, yepp its near the end on prev page
