Let's just go simple: the Aquila, with a skull instead of the eagle, in white against a black background.

Also: Ask the Ecclessiarchy for more priests and the ability to sanction our own priests. Indoctrinate daily prayer to all men's schedule that does not interfere with training. Grant them 6 hours of sleep, 4 hours of prayer, separated, 4 hours of free time, 6 hours training, and four hours for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

What Ordo's is Kalman in? Because if he's in Ordo Hereticus he could help us find psykers among our men.

Order the priests to scan all the men monthly for signs of treason, doubt, or psyker prowess. If we find one, subject him to Kalman, the Black Ships, and hopefully he will be strong enough to become Sanctioned.

Kalman is not part of any Ordo, most Commissars aren't since they are Imperial Guard Officers outside of the standard IG Hierarchy, as for the sanctioning your own priests, that won't happen since all priests are part of the Ecclessiarchy and thus generally only chosen by the Ecclessiarchy so a recently raised Colonel sure won't get the ability to sanction priests. As for that schedule the three month trip is already over so no need for more transit commands :)

I'm pretty sure we're allowed to reorganize battalions. Doubt it would be very usefull though. Besides, the organization is mainly just that, and has no real gameplay results.

For the standard how about a building with a hole in it for the background and a basilisk cannon smoking in front of it.

(( I may be wrong, but don't priests allow guardsmen to perform better charges and give them a morale or hp boost? ))

The priests have a morale increasing aura. But we can just attach them to a charge when needed. Also, I'm not sure we have absolute authority over them. Doubt they'd like being thrown all around the place.

(( Well I was thinking more like put 1 in 1st battalion, 1 in 2nd battalion, 1 in heavy battalion and 1 in artillery battalion, plus the 2 veteran units in the command battalion.

To spread that morale aura across all the units that don't have a commissar other then the scouts and to keep the command battalion as strong as possible.
Since they were assigned to us by request I'm hoping that means we can order assign them to specific battalions. ))

Current Regimental Standard Votes:
1 - the Aquila, with a skull instead of the eagle, in white against a black background
1 - a broken lance and an intact arrow crossed, both orange, on a field of white, with a black border. Superimposed atop the shattered lance and arrow is the regimental number, and group commendations would be arranged on the right, and the sign of the Aquila would be placed in the bottom left corner
1 - a building with a hole in it for the background and a basilisk cannon smoking in front of it

I'm going to wait till tomorrow to update anyway just wanted to get this tie broke so I didn't have to roll to decide :P

It's probably a silly question, but what does any of that have to do with siege?

You can only move units between the same battalion types, so you can only move troops between the 1st and 2nd Infantry battalions. Sorry, but its for my sanity :P

(( I mean the new units, the 2 veteran and 4 priests. Because unit wise don't the priests typically get assigned to specific units individually to give the widest impact?

Still reading though the info ( shees this is gonna take months ) but don't Priests, Psykers and Commissar typically act as field commander type things beneath the general? ))

No, Priests, Psykers, and Commissars are placed on a per regiment basis however the Psykers and Priests are to follow the orders of the Highest Ranking Regiment Officer (in this case you) though the priests generally have a larger say and control in what they do in battle due to the fact that they'll know how to do their jobs better then you in most cases. As for Psykers they are kept on a short leash and follow your orders pretty much without question in most cases.

Commissars however are different, they exist outside of the normal IG Hierarchy so they only really answer to Generals, Lord Militants, Warmasters, and other high ranking officials. They are the IG's discipline force so thus they can't (and won't) follow a low ranking officer's orders (like you).

As for moving the priests and veterans, I'm sorry but that is a no. The veterans are their to act as the Ministorum Priests personal guard and their escorts so they stay with them, and the Priests themselves will go to where they are needed in a battle (though you can command them if you wish) so they are in their own little detachment. They're attached to aid you in a warzone, but for all intents and purposes they are Ecclesiarchy members to the core.
