..Going apeshit on every single dwarf in the fortress until being stopped...

A recruit with no combat skills an not even a weapon other than a shield killing a forgotten beast.

A gigantic panda tore the head off of my militia commander.

My resident badass killed a forgotten beast while unarmed and unarmoured, by biting to death.
The whole combat log was just "the hammerlord bites the forgotten beast in the head, tearing the muscle and bruising the skull" for about five pages before he bit its throat out

Goblins riding giant toads leaping on the walls of my fort to attack my archers.

Someone here told me it's impossible, but that just makes it more awesome.

When the one dwarf locked outside with a flying megabeast somehow managed to get a crossbow, and proceeded to one-shot it out of the sky, making it spiral down into the brook before I knew what happened. I made a thread about it, actually haha.

While this isn't "the most badass" it is such an unfair fight.


The only thing he had on him was that spear and the cloth clothes on his back.

One of them was the time I had a tantrum spiral and a giant bat wrestled a battle-axe off someone and went on a rampage, killing like a dozen people with the axe itself.

Kitten lasting almost a minute fighting a FB.
Any time a mega beast rips the pants off someone and beats them to death with it.

My militia commander spearlord once soloed dragon and one-hitted it. Adamantine spear directly to the head.

Ahh...

There was this time with a Zombie Goat you see when I was but a young dwarf lord carving out his second fortress from a mountainside. There were doors, and workshops and traps a-plenty, but a goat was caught in the vile murk and zombified it did become.

And so the Dwarves were terrified by this fell squid-eyed beast, and rampage and chase many it did. In desperation the doors to the mountain home were locked and I as Dwarf Lord enquired the Libary of the Interwebs to advise me on dealings with such beasts. It was suggested one should form a squad of warriors to engage this beast and smash its brains into bits.

Thus battle was drawn, goat vs dwarves.

Yet the goat would bray, and the dwarves did sway and loose both head and leg to goatish bite. Alas the Goat would return within the walls of the hold to terrorise and splatter the walls with blood. The dwarfs would fight for their lives but all would fall...

To this day the Goat still treds the mountainhall waiting again for the taste of dwarf flesh...

Dwarf recruit fighting a Forgotten Beast amidst fire as the land around them literally burned, after she just one-shotted another Forgottten Beast through the heart.

Dungeonmaster (old rev of DF), clad Dungeonmaster-style in just a half-dozen cloaks and his hammer, out for a stroll on a mountain ridge, when he discovers a goblin thief.  I unpause...  *bop*!  Goblin goes flying halfway across the screen, straight off the ridge, then plunges down into the valley Wile Coyote-style.  Except his crater involved a lot of splatter.  That was the first time I wished for a rewind key in DF.
