I hate Naked Mole Dogs.  They disrupt the civilians, spawn near constantly, and are going to force me to build cage traps all over.  Rrr!  But I've been noticing a disturbing trend in my military.  They seem to bite the enemy as much as they attack it normally.  They bit into the forgotten beast I had recently, twice!, they bit another naked cave dog, and now my speardwarf is shaking around this naked cave dog around by his teeth more than my pet war dogs did.

Are my dwarves carnivorous?  I don't think this is safe or normal behavior.  But at least my military agrees to my mutual hatred!
...I need cage traps... ._.

Also, just for kicks (literally), here's a report of a child taking out his anger on another mole dog.  This attack was unprovoked, but I guess the kid wanted to try his hand at extermination.

I'll update if more of my military bites various assorted underground enemies.  This is amusing.

Yeah, dwarves often bite enemies. It's notthing to worry about, it's safe.
I once had a dwarf bite the head off a goblin.

I just think it's hilarious to imagine a dwarf grabbing hold of a weird rat thing and then start flinging it about like a puppy's chew toy.

Or attaching themselves to giant skinless elks with poisonous blood.

Now that one I don't know is too safe, hahaha.

By the way, that's really funny too.  Dwarf teeth must be like miniature swords.

Actually, I think if no blood splatters on the dwarves, biting a thing with poisonous blood is safe.

The best part is they can bite and shake around several body parts at once. They can probably latch on to a different body part with each of their teeth. I imagine they open very wide, wrap the target in their mouth and beard and rip it apart with their teeth in all directions.

Actually, naked mole dogs are the same as naked mole rats. Except they are the size of dogs. So, that dwarf is basically swinging a naked dog around. With a tooth. Yeah.
