casting around candy
« on: July 13, 2013, 09:06:22 am »

have anyone ever tried to cast obsidian around a candy cane to get every piece of candy of it?
would it be possible, using the candy canes, to cast and drain the magma sea?

Casting around the spires is a fairly common practice. As far as draining the sea, casting would work, I suppose, since the casting can go right up to the edges of the map.

Children you rescue shouldn't behave like rabid beasts.  I guess your regular companions shouldn't act like rabid beasts either.
I think that's a little more impossible than I'm likely to have time for.

Oh yeah, that would open up more safe areas of the spire. If you have a lot of them, sealing off the whole sea may be more efficient than chipping away at each level of each spire.

I am trying to make chickens lay bees as eggs. So far it only produces a single "Tame Small Creature" when a hen lays bees.
Honestly at the time, I didn't see what could go wrong with crowding 80 military Dwarves into a small room with a necromancer for the purpose of making bacon.
