Double turn day madness!

Go to the downed dwarf, say Eolginv Myxida, at point blank or inside his damned chest.

If he survives, say Cybea, while standing in a place that would cause the acid to fall over him.

If he doesn't survive, say Cybea over Rolepgeek's character (because you are already dead)
Words of Vengeance
enact plan: run away.

[Jabon Spd:5+1]
[Damon Spd:3]
[Outcast Spd:2]
[Urist Spd:3+1]

Jabon reacts with lightning speed, sending his hand toward Urist's chest.

[Jabon Dex:1+1]
[Urist Dex:4+1]

Urist dodges away with ease.  Growling, Jabon points and says his words anyway.

[Jabon Pot:4+2]
[Jabon Dex:6+1]

[Urist Dex:4+1]

[Jabon Str:3+1]
[Damon Str:5-1]

A point of darkness bursts forth from Jabon's finger, and impacts on Urist square in the chest.  The dwarf barely has time to swear before the point activates, sucking the dwarf and all his gear in.  Jabon briefly thinks he sees a glimmer in his sack before it vanishes- and the pull reaches him.  Jabon is able to stand firm, and Damon grabs at the ground and holds on tight until the singularity vanishes, one dwarf fatter.

[Urist Lamkalallibash has been slain!  Jabon gains seven points.]

Speaking of Damon, Jabon walks over to him and says his word.

[Jabon Pot:3+2]
[Damon End:6]

A nice load of acid drops on Damon.  He screams, but is not too terribly injured- at least, not enough to stop him from casting one final spell.  The dwarf gone, he realigns his aim at the jerk tormenting him.

[Damon Pot:5+1]

A massive beast forms out of the air- a monstrosity of arcane energy.  Its body stands like a human, but on digitigrade legs.  Its muscular body is hunched forward, and its head very lupine.  The arcane werewolf sniffs the air, then howls and turns, advancing slowly toward Outcast Wizard.

Outcast Wizard, seeing the new threat, starts backing up slowly.  He gets to the door of the great room, focusing on casting a spell.

Damon closes his eys, mouths "Asshole," and perishes.  His soul power floats away to the ether.

[Damon is dead.  His power goes to no one.]

Pat the fleshy cube... somewhere AWAY from it's mouth. See if it's angry, or happy, or... just content or something. It hasn't tried to eat me yet, so...

Try:
Mirkin Losigonic Fluslit.

You pet the cube.  It's warm, pulsating and moaning.

"...iiillllllll eeeeee..."

Ick.

[Pot:3]  A small silver snake forms.  Its body is unusually stiff and its head is unusually large.  Hmm.

It slithers away.  Sss.

Might as well Experiment, here's hoping I get lucky and find something that will help.

Let's see if magic gets you out of this too.

[Pot:2]  Nothing happens.

[Pot:1]  Nothing happens.

[Pot:1]  Guess what!

RE FREAKING CAST

Damn you magic!

[Pot:5]  Oh hey, I have to go back and look at your spell now.

Magical ley lines crawl across your skin.  They hook together and settle in, feeling under your control.

Dave poofs into existence at the center of the Grand Room.  Time for some fun!

Nivim:  I'm passing you for now because you haven't logged in in two weeks.  You'll stay at the top, though.

Damon's power went nowhere because Jabon didn't really hurt him enough to not take the credit from Urist, who was already dead.

Speaking of, the first boss has been defeated!  Did you folks like it?  Sadly, since he was eaten by a black hole, you don't get to see the cool reward he had in his bag.  No, it wasn't another cat (but if you had killed him quickly you could have gotten that!)

Name: Damien Harpier
Appearance: Skinny, smart, and surprisingly athletic.
Stats:
Strength: 0
Speed: 0
Dexterity: 1
Endurance: 1
Will: 0
Potency: 3
Channeling: 4

I think we can all agree that a magic werewolf is more awesome than a simple black hole.

By the way, before you destroy it, Tomcost, remember that you don't get anything for it. And it will distract Outcast Wizard while you do whatever.

Try to touch the wall and see if I can feel it. Then focus potency.

Will PM the stats.

I didn't like Urist because he killed me.

But aside from that, the boss was great.

I disliked his indestructability and the fact he destroyed my legs, i mean my bigass magnet dragon only scratched his leg and we had to throw the jerk into a black hole to off him.

Aside from that though he was great.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

That fight gave me a lot of Science to do.

By the way, I will resort to blackholes only if I can't kill something in a badass way.

I intentionally gave him an arcane-proof (Electricity too, but no one tried that) shield to deal with its power.  His +2 endurance helped him quite a bit, too.

Tomcost, I totally approved of your idea to off him, and it would have worked spectacularly if he hadn't kept dodging you.  Had your spell failed, he would have demonstrated his ability to injure you despite your form.

And the reward would have been what survived of his gear plus the Tankard of Infinite Booze.

Tankard of Infinite Booze.
You spell "The Holy Grail" really poorly, Toaster.

But, I wanted to fill his brain with magma! Thats not fair! -Tomcost does a childish ramble-

Anyway, I will find better ways to kill somebody. And I already have an idea, but I would need some knolwdedge first.

Toaster, I can PM you my idea if you want.

On the statistics topic, it would be nice if Toaster could have a banner on his sig that reads:

"The Pit of Magic, where a waitlister enters the Arena every x updates!"

But I don't have any clue on how to do it.

I'm always interested in hearing player theories and ideas.  I'm still disappointed no one seems at all interested in figuring out the pattern of the pages.

Alas, my sig is full of both lines and characters.  That's why the wonderful La quote isn't linked.
