Obviously the lightning bolt page wasn't terribly destructive after all. Disappointing.  But there were many other violent-looking pages in the book.  Brushing off the hair from the cover, Deren picks it up and gives it another read through.  Finding a different page, he places the book down again and aims a new word at the tome.

"Villognio!"

Derek is a bit worried about Myra.  She's been awfully quiet the entire time they've been in the magma room.  But maybe she's so deep in thought that nothing he's doing matters to her anymore?  Derek nudges Myra a little anyway.

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

FINISH HIM!
Indeed, let's find out.

[Derm Spd:2]
[Tod Spd:3+1]

Tod executes plan GTFO, running faster than Derm can grab at him.  Derm chases Tod all the way across the bridge over the bottomless pit, past Bob and The Golden Scholar, when Derm suddenly finds himself fleshy again, all trace of the ley lines gone.

aims a new word at the tome.

"Villognio!"

Derek nudges Myra a little anyway.

You nudge Myra.  A bit of drool forms at the side of her mouth, her expression vacant.  Shrugging, you attempt to kill the book again.

[Pot:6+1]  A shimmering image appears before you, of a heavily muscled leg, tall enough to be for a giant.  It fades away.

Smastendip

Ignoring the two men running past you, you continue to focus on your magic.

[Pot:6+1]  A shimmering image of a massive, heavily ornate and detailed polearm appears before you.  Looks like a halberd of the gods.

[Pot:1+1]  Another shimmering image, but there's no telling what it is.  Unless it's The Blob.

[Pot:4+1]  This shimmering image is clearly a sword.  Useful for murder.

[Pot:4+1]  And this one is a nice battleaxe, the kind you expect to see in the hands of an executioner.

Sienit
Fluslit
Exanfidul

You continue the search for Fun.

[Pot:1+1]  A few bits of a greenish-goldish metal appear before you.

[Pot:6+1]  A massive hunk of silver crashes down to the ground.  It's enough to feed a whole army of werewolf hunters.

[Pot:5+1]  A whopper pile of bronze crashes down next.  You could outfit a couple Roman soldiers with this.

Yes.  See the post above you?  That's four casts of four one-word spells.  If he had put them all on one line, I'd have treated it as one four-word spell.

((Except I couldn't tell if my stats allowed that or not, or if it was someone's else's thing, y'know?))

Myra hasn't really been helping out a lot... I guess she became tired from all the running about?  One can't be blamed for that, so Derek decides not to disturb her anymore and tries to play at being wizard.  After all, he grew a tree so he could probably do some other stuff!

Derek reads through the book again and tries the following for the destruction of the book:
"Terosifi!
Puboub!
Haustiver!
Kaverbel!

Apparently he likes the lightning-bolt page.
