Yes, because being rude is such an obvious indicator of being morally wrong.

+1 to not picking side. We don't know enough about local politics yet.

Besides that elves are rude.
And of course politeness to skeletal dragons is a well-known trait of dwarves.

You fellows must be elf lovers. I most certainly am not saying we should become the dwarve's friends solely because the elves were rude to us. I most certainly am saying it's a point against the elves. There's other reasons to lean towards the dwarfs though.

I'm suggesting we wait until we know a little more. Hence, +1 to the ice plating.

As you begin to coat the eastern side of your island with solid ice, you realize that the big cloud next to your island was not an island - it was merely a disguise created by the airships themselves, of which there are ten. The last bits of "clouds" are sucked into the chimney on top of the airships.

You manage to cover the most vital parts of the islandside, but you doubt it will last for long - if the mere elves have a technology capable of raining hell upon their adversaries, then the dwarves must have something close to or even more lethal. You wait, in between the two sides, reinforcing your island and waking for the events to unfold.

Well, I say to hell with being nice! We're a skeletal dragon plated in ice, we've died and came back more badass, I say we ice these petty mortal bitches.

Finally someone who understands the pride aspect of being a goddamn dragon!
Unfortunately I'll have to veto this. Just for now; I have a nasty feeling that the 10 or so airships they have will kick our ass.

What happens if they kick our ass (or tailbone, since we have no flesh and muscles)? We've already died. Technically, we're still dead.

Having our vessel destroyed is a bad thing, no?

// Worst case scenario - you're gonna lose all form of mobility, being left merely as a skull on a bottom of the ocean. And I can already tell you that fitting dragon bones are not easy to come by.

Fly out of the line of fire, try to contact as many dwarves as possible via telepathy, and hope that mindrape can be diluted.
"Uh, can you please explain to me what's going on or at least fight away from my tomb? It's filled with gold and though I don't care much for such trinkets, it would be a shame if it sinks into the ocean...."

((Either this works and diplomacy ensues or it fails and the airships 'mysteriously' crash.))

Could we still control another kind of body as long as an original part of our skeleton is attached to it? My idea is to place a small piece of bone (probably our finger or something) into a mortal sized skeleton from the lair. Then we control that through telepathy or something to act as our emissary.

How large are these airships? Would be nice to be capable of investigating the danger.

Can we try to act like an actual fossil. Maybe end up in a museum, if we're carefull.

// We're about half the size of the gondola part. Go figure.
// And at this point I doubt anybody would recognize you as a fossil. Best case scenario you'd end up to be studied by wizards.
