Anyone know how to provide a link to your own nation?  For the life of me I haven't been able to work that out.

Is there a better way to contact the staff/creator than email? Because I sent them/him an email about a week ago to see if I could reset/delete my multiple accounts, and have gotten no response.

Rumsod is a lazy piece of shit who barely ever even logs in and doesn't add in trivial and massively requested features.

Just posting to say: YEP. Only feature he added in the entire time I played (Yes, I am out now) was territory, unless you count sliders.

EDIT: If any of you play the last stand dead zone, you can officially find a quote in the chat logs where I called BLOC "polishit"

Does territory even do anything?

Also, are there many feeder countries/alts?  I'm looking at countries twice my GDP and their militaries are really horrendously small and weak.  The abuse that popped to my mind is creating two nations and have one farm the other one with wars.   Even if someone did, you'd be in a better position to knock them off for what they had.  I guess the key point is whether nations can expand with a war every week or so.

Limits growth and oil well production.

Officially, there shouldn't be, but... meh.
I managed to get away with a small military for a while because I was in a prominent alliance, Ghandi-like, high technology for the time, and chemical weapons. Nobody really wanted the sting from all of them.
The 'gaming' of mechanics is discouraged, such as going to war with somebody from an opposing faction who isn't playing and just begging for aid, but it's going to keep happening regardless.

When you're at the higher tiers and in an appropriate alliance, a military is not really necessary.

I think I may have accidentally received an optimal start.  I went mid-east, took the 500k start bonus, and found oil on the first day.  So I have access to oil money, which produces pretty efficient feedback, and allows me to build my military and domestic stats, without increasing the range of people who can attack me.  If you maintain ~115GDP and have two wells, you've doubled your funding a month.  Because I can stockpile oil, I can mass liquidate it and receive the bulk sums that I need to purchase expensive upgrades.    I had to choose, at ~120 gdp, whether I wanted to have some form of an air-force or drilling the new 650k well.

This is probably old meta discussion by now, but is there a mechanic I've not seen yet to retard this growth, or is getting oil really that op?

Oil well prices increase in cost per well. Also you make a lot more money at high GDP from farming inactives. And being in an alliance means you won't be attacked so you only need 10k troops to farm inactives. In any case in exchange for selling oil in alliance for cheap you can get a lot of aid for making wells and generally leveling up.

Well, once you have ~40 oil wells it costs around $2500k for each new one, which slows growth a bit. Otherwise, sitting on oil is comically overpowered.

When asked what happens when you are then shot in the other eye, he said that you put an eyepatch on that eye. When asked how you'd be able to see, he said that your first eye would have healed by then.
