What message did you get exactly? If you say UBA instead of #UBA it doesn't work. Also I used mibbit to get in.

UBA and #UBA should be the same thing. But I will try Mibbit.

Glyph was kicked from the alliance and forums when he started trying to gather support for attacking another alliance. He stated multiple times that he was going to do this with or without support, and even suggested that we pretend he's not in the alliance, but still give him access to the forums. He also said he was being payed a large sum of money to attack these people, and was trying to get aid after I said that no one was allowed to do it. I asked him multiple times if he was absolutely sure he wanted to do this, and his last reply was a vague threat saying that I shouldn't do anything I'd regret. So I removed his forum permissions and removed him from the alliance. I did the same thing when Lordslowpoke wanted to join RUKUNU (Which I have no problems with.)

I deleted one post on the forum he made, and that was him giving his nation link and asking for secret aid from other alliance members, that's it. This isn't an issue of differing opinions, but him wanting to drag the alliance into a senseless and useless conflict. If he simply suggested doing this, and we discussed whether or not this would be a good idea, I would of never kicked him from the alliance or group. I'm totally willing to listen to anyone's opinions, but you have to realize that being the leader I have a better feel for the community politics and have a better sense of what won't work out. Feel free to join his split-off group if you disagree, I can't stop you nor will I be pissed off at you.

I tentatively set up the #UBA channel on SynIRC.net. However, it's not REALLY secure; it will let anyone join until there's a human in the channel, and when that first human joins, it shows the password because it sets the chanel modes, including the password. The bot, Sky, was meant to watch the channel but doesn't serve this function. A properly secured UBA channel won't be on SynIRC unless we have a bot not run by the server to stay in there.

Of course, other IRC servers will allow you have Chanserv join the channel and hold your modes (including password to enter) like a human would, so I could set up a proper channel on a different server. Just SynIRC's Chanserv doesn't have that function.

It seems that once you reach "almost modern" you can no longer make guns. However, you still cannot make aircraft.

And seeing how oil is so expensive right now that means you almost have to go to wars so you can keep doing things.

I've just been making tanks. Progress is slower because you have to buy the oil which is expensive, but its still progress.
